EFFICIENT EXERCISE FOR EVERYONE

Nice to meet you.

Hi, I’m Tara Shuple, Owner ( and one of our coaches) at Evolve Fitness Studio. If you are checking this page out, you are probably a bit curious about who I am, how our studio came about, and what you might expect ( or what we hope you experience) when you walk in our doors.

The fitness industry has been my passion in different ways since 2005, when I started out teaching group classes after being recruited as a class participant. Over the next few years, I added many different certifications to my tool belt and considered it my “fun job” but one I never considered work. Effort? Yes. Work? Never. Fun? Yep .

As a young mom of two boys and having just lost my mom to cancer, quite suddenly, I realized life is WAY too short to spend your days doing something just for money. Gone were the days of living for the weekends. I was determined to enjoy each day, knowing I still had to make a living. I stepped into a full time management position, teaching classes, training clients and managing all parts of the group exercise world and instructors… it was a fit. I grew as an instructor and broadened my certifications even more, and started thinking about my ideal “fitness career”.

Things like: safe and creative classes for all people; efficient schedules for many different personalities, ages and fitness levels; a welcome and accepting vibe; meeting people at their starting point and walking with them in their fitness goals; blending fun events with exercise; adapting quickly to members needs and wants; incorporating real nutrition advice with reachable habit changes; and most important, creating a community that builds each other up; these were all things on a “someday” list or the “when I open my own studio” list….

Then, along came Covid. Another fork in the road and one that had me wondering if my beloved industry would ever return to it’s glory, and, if daily movement and fitness communities would ever get back into the spotlight. All of these small things seemed to point me in the direction of creating this space where myself and my awesome coaches strive to get people working out with safety, consistency and community.

And, here we are. (You may now see the reason for the name?) Currently, we offer 45-50 (30) minute classes each week within (8) different formats including: yoga, HIIT training, Strength training, indoor cycle, barre, cardio boxing, and a couple of our trademark hybrid classes of cycle/strength and cycle/barre. Not to brag, but, our instructors freaking rock. They have TONS of experience, and they just make you feel at home. No judgement, just real and solid coaching with the hope you walk away feeling strong, healthy and happy.

We can list out all of our letters of certifications and years of experience, but the studio is about YOU. It’s for YOU. We are here to listen to how we can guide you, so, stop on by, check us out. We always give you a free class because we want to take the pressure off, just show up and let us help get you feeling strong and healthy. Of course, we will happily share all of our different backgrounds, educations and certifications whenever you like, but, we think you’ll enjoy experiencing it instead.
